2006 Cabernet Sauvignon - Home Ranch, Livermore Valley

Only 5 barrels from our Home Ranch Vineyard were deemed of great enough quality to be released as a Single Vineyard Series wine. Long one of the favorites of our guests and club members, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon - Home Ranch is the finest example from this vineyard since the 2003 release. Replete with aromas and flavors of semi-sweet chocolate, mint, cassis, and tobacco, this very complex wine has a silky entry, rich mid-palate, and substantial tannins on the long finish to warrant aging for 8-10 years.

A signature of the site and of the Steven Kent style, only 120 cases of this Cabernet were produced. Limit 6 bottles.
