Premier Cabernet Collection
I am fortunate enough to make wine in one of the great growing areas in the world. Similar to these other more famous sites, the Livermore Valley has the necessary conditions to grow great fruit, but even more crucially, Livermore has a spirit to it - a sense of beginnings...a sense that anything is possible here, if one cares enough about it.
The Steven Kent Winery was started in 1996 with one mission: to make Cabernet here from our Valley that rivals in quality Cabernet made anywhere in the world. We have worked joyously and strenuously to learn our sites and how our fruit expresses itself and believe now that we have found the vineyards and winemaking philosophy to turn our quest into reality.
With great pride I would like to introduce to you our Premier Cabernet Collection. The Collection is comprised of extremely-limited wines, each made from a single clone of Cabernet from a single vineyard. Though each individual wine shows its own personality, all the wines in the Collection share an impressive depth of flavor, elegance, and structure.
